Owls & Peregrine Falcons
These birds are part of an education program that travels Ontario to help us understand some of the things that are happening in our environment. All of these beautiful birds are either rescued as tiny orphans or born and raised in facilities run by completely dedicated loving volunteers who care for and raise each individual bird as their own.Although they are in captivity for their lives they know nothing else outside what they have been born into.I witnessed the bond between each one and their caretakers and it is amazing. They are loved and taken care of as if they were a family member. However they are not pets. They are predators and hunters. They have all the instincts that God gave each of them and cannot be played with as you would your cat or dog. They are magnificent to watch and I feel privileged to have taken some photos of them, and happy that I can share with you!Enjoy!
